The Club is always looking for new members. Regardless of what bike you ride, or even if you don’t ride one at all and just like talking about them, we’d like you to join us. We try and provide something for everyone – even if just a pint on a Tuesday evening.
Competitive events:
Belonging to the Club will enable you to get an ACU licence, and to take part on the many
events run across the UK. There’s usually a group of us going to these events, and so you’d
be welcome to come along. Our BBQ’s and camping arrangements are legendary.
Enduro’s and Trials:
The Club run three official events throughout the year; The Wentwood Enduro, The Ivor Morkott LDT and our Summer Evening Trials series. From beginner to near-professional, there’s always someone to laugh at or learn from.
Social events:
We arrange social gatherings throughout the year – from Canoeing on the Wye, to Curry
nights, Kart Racing or a famous guest speaker, we try to give us all a reason to come together
on a regular basis.
Training days:
We are very lucky to have some very experienced riders amongst our membership, many of
them Championship level, and with the right form of bribery they are willing to give up some
of their free time to offer Club Members some training. For example, Craig Bounds of Dakar
fame, recently held a one-day trials training session.
Tuesday Nights:
Because not all of us live in a cyber-world, we maintain a weekly get together over a pint at
Bedwas Rugby Club. This is where the real business is done and if you’re thinking of joining
the Club, why don’t you pop down and join us for a beer or two – then make your mind up!
We meet from 9pm onwards.
Deals ‘n’ stuff:
We are always on the lookout for deals on kit and tyres that our members can benefit from.
